About Baker-Phillips Educational Communications (BPEC)Baker-Phillips Educational Communications Limited (BPEC) was founded in July 1997, as Baker-Phillips Inspection Services, by Roger Baker and Jim Phillips, two highly experienced education experts, school inspectors, inspection contractors and inspection administrators. Jim and Roger are trained as primary/infant inspectors, with experience in Early Years (2 to 5 year olds), Primary and Secondary Education and Special Educational Needs (SEN). Roger has previously been a Senior Adviser for two LEAs and Jim is an ex-headteacher with over twenty years teaching experience. Both have been involved in education throughout their careers and are closely involved with UK School Inspections to this day. In 1998, due to a rapid growth in business, Jim and Roger were joined by Gareth Baker. In 2000, Baker-Phillips Inspection Services became Baker-Phillips Educational Communications Limited with Jim, Roger and Gareth undertaking the role of company directors. In 2006 Baker-Phillips made substantial investments in new office and publishing plant; enabling the production and delivery of our products and services to be undertaken completely in-house. As a result of this investment, in 2007, our marketing, product/service development, publishing and fulfillment processes were restructured and centralized at a single location.
