Do I have to register?
In order to facilitate the
organization of the free pre-training visits, and the assignment of qualified
expert trainers to schools, BPEC kindly requests that all interested schools return
their Registration Form.
Am I committed to the training
if I return my Registration Form?
No. Returning your Registration
Form does not in any way obligate your school to undertake the training.
I had a problem with the
Online Registration Form - what should I do?

out a copy of the Registration Form and return it by post / fax. Alternatively
visit the contact / customer service page
for help.
Pre-Training
Visit
What is the pre-training
visit for - how will it benefit my school?
The pre-training visit enables
your Tailored SEN, Disability & ECM Training Package content to be customized
on an individual basis. It provides the best way for BPEC to ensure that your
school receives good value and a high quality, bespoke training product.
During this visit the qualified
BPEC expert trainer will discuss the areas in which your school needs assistance
or advice and examine any available data, including your last OFSTED inspection
report and your SEF.
When and where will the
pre-training visit take place?
The pre-training visit will
take place on a mutually agreeable date for both your school and BPEC. The meeting
is best conducted at your school (see previous FAQ).
When and where will the
pre-training visit take place for Cluster Training?
For Cluster Training each
school will be contacted individually and separate pre-training visits arranged
(as detailed in previous FAQ).
Is there any charge for
the pre-training visit - even if I don't take the training?
There is no charge for the
pre-training visit - it is free in all cases.
How long will it be between
the pre-training visit and the training?
This will depend upon when
BPEC can arrange the training and when your school's staff can be made available
- BPEC will endeavour to arrange your Tailored SEN, Disability & ECM Training
as quickly as possible.
When will my school be committed
to taking the training?
After the pre-training visit,
BPEC will confirm the details of your training in writing. At this point BPEC
will ask you to return a Booking Confirmation Form. This will commit you to the
training. Once this confirmation is received, BPEC will make the final arrangements
and formally contract your expert trainer(s).
Custom

Is there any obligation
to take a follow-up visit and will my school need one?
No. There is absolutely
no obligation to have a follow-up visit training day. BPEC has in the past been
asked to provide this service and this is the reason for offering it.

the follow-up visit?
Yes. Wherever possible the
same trainer will undertake all of your training days.
What will the training include?

and provision now required for SEN, Disability, ECM and Inclusion

and not just procedures exist in your school - show how all your 'different
groups' have their needs met, enjoy and achieve...
How flexible is the training
content - will it really be tailored to my school?
The Tailored SEN, Disability
& ECM Training content is based around a core of common elements dictated
by SEN, Disability & ECM legislation and Codes Of Practice and the management
/ classroom processes they demand. Yet, the training can easily be modified and
adapted to target areas where your school requires specific assistance or advice.
Your Tailored SEN, Disability
